Track Name: Barry Square
It was just another American night,
Out with the boys and feeling alright
A fist and a boot and plenty of beer,
On top of the world and nothing to fear
We were in the square when guns were drawn,
Back to the west for pistols at dawn
When it came to our money we fight,
Guns rang out all through the night

Chorus:
Run your pockets
Hands in the air
The Blood’s gonna run at Barry Square

The smoke did clear and we saw who fell,
Tears were shed and we rung the bell
The enemy sank back into the fog,
Ran away like an injured dog
We made our way back to our home,
\we were bruised and broken boned
Drank our whiskey til well past dawn
And said a toast for those who’d gone
Track Name: You Never Know
You never know when you’re gonna go
Put the hammer down, let the whiskey flow
You never know, you could be next
Any night could bring your death

You can work all night, ‘till back meets bone
Never have a place to call your own
Times are hard, as rough as can be
All you can do is hang on to your dreams

Chorus:
You Never Know When You’re Gonna Go
Put the hammer down, let the whiskey flow
You never know you could be next
Any day could bring your death

Live for today, it’s all you get
Do what you love, and give it your best
Hope for tomorrow, and what it might bring
Never forget to stand up and sing

When I wake up I’ll sing this song
‘Cause then I know that I’m not gone
When I wake up to a throbbing head
At least I know that I’m not dead
Track Name: Dress Sharp, Drink Hard
Dressing sharp and drinking hard, that’s the way to go
Hanging out and busting heads, we’ll see you at the show
Dressing sharp and drinking hard, that’s the way to go
Skinheads always at the dancehall, throwing their elbows

Chorus:
Dress Sharp, Drink Hard x 4

Skinheads always working hard, nine-to-five, they’re going far
Working hard and looking for a fight
Always got a drink in hand, skinhead’s going to take a stand
Every night, never backing down
Track Name: The Shiner's War (Acoustic)
The Rideau Canal was the setting of the story of a war in old Bytown
The french and the Irish were pitted in a fight
Though they stood on common ground

Just some common workers who were forced into the fray
By the bosses who controlled their pay
Two groups of common men who were told that they were different
That they would have to fight someday

Chorus:
The bosses were the ones who stood to gain
The bosses were the ones that caused the pain
For in the Shiner’s War neither side was right
but they’d both have to pay the price (they’d both have to pay the price)

It’s the same old story of class manipulation and shady political games
The Common men were told they must step into the crossfire
They weren’t given any say

The conflict came to blows and soon fists would fly
In the name of insatiable greed
The ones who did the fighting weren’t the ones who saw the profit
But they were blamed for the deed

Chorus:
The workers were the ones who’d have to fight
The workers were the ones who’d have to die
For in the Shiner’s war neither side was right
but they’d both have to pay the price (they’d both have to pay the price)
